IF the Cajuns get to 7 or 8 wins I can see them in Mobile, if we win only 6 games its off to Montgomery, My opinion...

App State in Orlando, and GaSo in either Mobile or Montgomery, wherever the Cajuns don't go....

Unfortunately, the Cajuns could go 5-7, yikes!!!
GaSt, is going to be a battle, Cajuns will have to score 30 or more to expect to win..
South Alabama, playing them on the road with 5 days rest, if we lose to GaSt we will probably lose...
New Mexico State, at home, I think we win, NMSU is struggling..
App State, on the road, struggling as of lately, but I think the Cajuns lose this one...
Troy, I saw how they played on the road at App St..

Not looking good for my Cajuns...
It all rides on this weekend, if we pull out a win we could get on a roll, that is what happened last year at Cajun Field. It started with a come from behind win over GaSt....

USA will be playing the Cajuns with only 5 days' rest as well. Thankfully though, we'll be home.

I hope the Cajuns go to NOB my second choice would be Mobile or Orlando I do not want the game in Montgomery at all but I would attend if that where we go. Right now I just want six victories minimal

That USA today bowl selection has USA in the HOD bowl (with an *) They also have Buffalo in New Orleans with AppSt (Buffalo got an * too, Buffalo really???? that would be the worst attended N.O. game ever unless AppSt brings 20K+ which is possible)

The only thing I have against Mobile is the date. All the other games I can make so it doesn't matter too much where it is. I'm hoping we get a few in Orlando over the years and maybe some in the other cities too. Also, the goal is to be bowling in ATLANTA new years.

If it's Cure or Camelia for GS I'll 94.654% be there. For the others it drops to 1.36876%

I'm not sure South Florida would make a bowl game. Sitting at 4-4 with Temple, Cinci, East Carolina, and UCF to play.

East Carolina and Tulsa also not looking great for AAC. Then again, someone has to get to 6-6.

Still can't believe UCF is 0-9. That program had promise a few years ago!

One of the favorites to fill the New Orleans Bowl spot for CUSA is La Tech. Cajuns already played La Tech this season, and bowl games hate rematches. Toledo is one of the favorites to fill the MAC spot in Mobile, and they've already played Arkansas State this year.

If the Cajuns go 6-6 or 7-5, and Tech becomes the CUSA rep, I could easily see New Orleans taking Arkansas State instead of the Cajuns. I could also see Go Daddy letting Toledo go somewhere else if it starts to look like they will end up with the Red Wolves.

screw that, I'd rather go to HOD or Arizona. Put Southern Miss in NO to play ULL

If Louisiana gets to 6 wins (which I expect) it seems almost a given that they will be headed back to NO for the NO Bowl.

So that leaves basically Montgomery, Orlando and a possible back up in Arizona between Ga. Southern, App. St. and a 5th Belt team if we can get a 5th team eligible.

I am thinking App to Montgomery and Ga. Southern to Orlando.

That sound about right?

5 more games to go, folks.

I would love for that to happen and would probably attend no matter who was in it. Unfortunately, I don't think a big six bowl venue can host another bowl, so it'd probably have to be at Georgia Tech. Which would be reasonable but seems less likely than adding an extra to the Dome/King Arthur's Castle.

Orlando's Sport Commission has submitted a bid to bring the championship here, I believe in 2021? There are five other bowls played here as well.

Doesn't the Superdome host both the Sugar and the New Orleans Bowls?

Yep. I remember awhile back, folks were talking about the New Orelans Bowl moving to Tulane's new stadium, but I don't know what ever happened with that. Someone here that keeps up with all the little tidbits may can explain what all that was about.

No way that can be true. To many of these buildings host more then one bowl game, and the championship game is outside the bowl games. So imagine if Jerry world couldn't host the Cotton Bowl and the championship game...

RE: Likely bowl games
That was a misunderstanding of what they wrote in the guidelines and what they meant.
A big six has to have a certain amount of time between bowls and I believe is limited on what events they can manage.
