I think if he's offered anything, he goes. He's always looking for the BBD. Kill went from under $500k to $1.8. Doeren's deal was about the same. PJs making the best money possible in the MAC which is a credit to you guys for trying to keep a coach in a carousel league, but it's still not enough. Minny would be an awesome move for PJ if offered. Double the pay and a move into a program that Kill has headed in the right direction. I think PJ was on Kill's staff at one point as a WR coach after his Grad Assistantship at OSU and before Rutgers. One of the reasons he was offered NIU/OC in 2012.

He's out there, but he's getting results. If you make it to Detroit, he's gone.

Minnesota isn't available, Claeys signed a 3 yr deal.

I'll refrain from judging the season until NIU and Toledo are in the books. Beat NIU next week (and Toledo lose at BG, likely) and we clinch the West. Still, it's easy to get jaded after so many years of not getting over that hump.

Doesn't a three way tiebreaker go by the record of your crossovers? NIU would be undefeated against the East, and UT and WMU would have a loss. If it goes by division record first, then NIU would be eliminated and then Toledo would have the head to head over us.

Shoot, I miscalculated, you're right. Never mind. We'd need more things to happen.

Even if we don't get to the MACC, we've got to pull off at least one victory here, if only to break the long drought we've had against those teams. Not to mention a 7-5 record likely assures us a bowl. 6-6 and ending the season on a downward skid is less attractive.
