FBS Coaches Poll After Week 9
http://sportspolls.usatoday.com/ncaa/foo...ches-poll/

Sorry, but why should someone vote for WKU or Marshall (especially Marshall) over App State?

I feel pretty sure App State would be undefeated with Marshall's schedule and would probably have the same or better record with WKU's schedule. Is it because App State played a P5 still alive for the CFP while WKU and Marshall played P5 patsies? Doesn't make sense to me.

And I hate App State. 04-chairshot

Schedule. Easy as that. WKU has a win over a P5 (granted a really bad P5) and a close game against another.

Marshal also has a win over a P5 (again, a terrible P5) but a loss to Ohio.

App doesn't really have any "big" wins this year. The Georgia Southern win was impressive to most of us, but voters don't see a win over another SBC team as being that impressive.

None of this is a shot at App, I think you are better than both of these teams as well.

I'm glad we still have one vote after Saturday. Means we are still on the radar and we win out, we could make the top 25 buy year-end. We will see.

Better win on Thursday before you count your chickens.

No one is counting chickens before they hatch. If App wins Thursday its a quality win that will keep us in the conversation, but still not enough to pull us all the way up. We have to win out to even have a chance.

I bet half of those voters think Memphis, Cincinnati, and ECU are still in CUSA.

He said we could, and clearly implied "if" we win out. No App fan is counting this Thursday as a win, we know the talent advantage you guys have.

Oh man. I forgot all about the talent Arkansas State has. Time to pull out the underdog costume.

Man, I thought they were still in CUSA and that's no joke. Outside of GS football I am disinterested. 01-wingedeagle
