Interesting game.

Saw the line, and decided to take a look back at the talent on AppSt's roster but they do not have any talent, any where.

I normally defer to those that put real mney on the table, but IMO if A-State is not in the self destruct mode, especially their qb, they should win this game easily, much less cover the spread.
If there were ever a time for a condescending Wonka meme...

"So you evaluated App's talent by looking at the roster, did you?"

Tell me how App State has no chance because they have fewer rivals 3-star players?"

Did you really just try to claim that App has no talent based on a look at their roster?

How on earth do you figure that?

Yep, He's been doing it this way for years. And he still manages to get people riled up about it.

As a 30+ year season ticket holder it pains me to say this, but the reality is App has a hard core group of fans that numbers around 17K. The students who sit between the 30's are awesome and MOST of our season ticket holders are great. They show up week after week, regardless of record, regardless of weather and stay to the bitter end. I understand there are those who just can't make it every game for various reasons. I'm talking about socialites who are more concerned with what they're wearing or where they're going to party after the game and those who only come when it's not too cold or a chance of rain in the forecast. Hello! It's BOONE! It's gets cold and rainy in October and November. Stop being a whiner. Man up, dress for the weather and support your team.

While I love the ability to watch away games on ESPN3 and to watch replays of home games, this service makes it even more convenient for fair weather fans to stay home. Until our people embrace the elements that maket KBS a true home field advantage then show up early and stay until the clock reads 0:00, we can't claim to be a passionate and dedicated fan base. We're just like everyone else.

I don't know what the self mutilation is all about with Moehler and other app fans... we had 26k at the Troy game and it was parents weekend. I've been going AppState games for 30 years and parents leave early for the restaurants. I'm really sick and tired of it... were not Alabama. Heck they even have droves leaving at all time during the game. Be glad that we get 26k and are the 2-3rd best attended team in the sunbelt and shut up. Take a gander on ESPN 3 replay and take a look at the attendance around the conference yesterday.

You can't control what other people do, at your age you should know that by now.

It's not just a few parents leaving for dinner on Parents Weekend, it's students and so called fans leaving at the half of every game. Are you sick of people leaving, or people complaoing about it? Sounds to me you're saying we should just accept mediocrity from our fans. Besides leaving early most of em can't even get in the gates until half the first quarter is gone. Like how you used the absurd comparison of Alabama. Reminds me how former AD Laney used to make excuses all the time.

We're making too much of this. Troy wanted a coming out party and GaState had two weeks to prepare and wanted a coming out party of thier own. In the end: both teams that should have won did. Thursday won't be about trick plays and desperate teams looking to turn things around. This game will be more like a heavyweight fight.

Doubt that with 5 days (4 in the case of stAte) to prepare anyone is going to be bringing a whole lot of new into the game.
I think y'all both got their best shots for the very reasons above and because y'all are leading the conference, you both survived and an ugly win is way better than, well there is no such thing as a pretty loss, but you get the drift. That brings us to this week which will be an absolute slug fest. A short week so you both do what you do best for a game plan and it's man on man, can't wait to watch.

Thanks for the credit but I just took a look at the roster rankings that my client paid me to help put together.
#1 A-State
#2 ULL
Gap
#3 USA
#4 TxSt
#5 Troy
#6 GaSo
#7 ULM
#8 AppSt
#9 Idaho
#10 NMSU
#11 GaSt

Took the time to compare the rankings of the players on A-State and AppSt's 2-deep roster based on their game notes and the gap was even bigger.

Again the results are similar to this article i linked to:

http://www.sbnation.com/college-football...ball-teams

Again normally I defer to people that put real money on games, but the talent gap is a little to big to ignore in this case.

At some point Anderson & Company had to figure out what they are doing, but the main reason I say they finally click is their qb is finally beginning to get it together.

Better late than never and look for him to put on a show Thursday night.

You do know stAte fans are tickled to death to get a win last night. That was against your last place talented team. You aren't a fan so I am really confused as to why you post this stuff. Of course it keeps most of the opposing teams fans from fussing at the real fans.

I love these guys who try and rile people up, Im glad we are coming off of a game which we should have lost.. WHY? Our team is going to get cussed at and have a couple days of hard practice, to get their heads back on straight. Maybe the injuries we sustained will hurt but we will be ready for this one, trust me, our guys will be refocused for sure.

*LAUGHING*

Nobody pays for rankings. That is the silliest thing I've ever read. Seriously, someone's roster ranking has zero value.
