Will schools support a 9 game conference schedule?
Just want to see what you guys think on this-

Let s assume for argument sake 2017 is last year for Idaho and NMSU which I think it will be.

We are then at 10 fb playing schools. Do we add 2 more to get back to 12 or stay at 10?

if we stay at 10 do we go to 9 game conference schedule? If so is there any real push for a championship game?

I sure hope we don't do a round robin football schedule... we need that other OOC game.

I don't think either leave if that makes us have less than 12. If Eku is added, Idaho is gone and NMSU is probably added as a full member.

As far as 9 games, that won't happen.

1) too many need the ability to have the extra money game.
2) the conference can't improve our poor reputation by playing ourselves more.

Idaho's AD wanted a nine game conference schedule when it was being decided.
We could have nine with twelve teams and as few as seven but eight seems right.

Several fans checked their schools' schedules further out and they only had 3 OOC games scheduled in 2018 and beyond. One of them is us.

That could be pretty telling TBH.
