Raleigh Roll Call
Speaking of men's basketball OOC and opening game, took Friday the 13th off, and ordered my tics for NC State through the Tribe athletic dept today. Gonna play Tom Petty all the way down, and all the way back if we pull the upset...Looking forward to being there, then shuttling back to the 'Burg for the Towson game the next day. Tribe overload....love it!! Guess the Wolfpack will have us up in a nosebleed section.

RE: Raleigh Roll Call
I will be there - with daughter and son-in-law.

I am riding a four-game losing steak on away games (High Point, Elon and CofC last year and CofC the prior year).

Planning on three away games this year (NC State, Liberty and CofC). If we don't beat Charleston this year I am going to have to move - and I don't think my wife will move with me.

My favorite Tribe double of all time was the win at Wake Forest by the basketball team combined with a Tribe football playoff win in 2009.

That one sits pretty well with me, as well. Jay and I BOTH got to call a Tribe victory in the same weekend.

04-cheers

And then the next week...sitting in Carbondale while whooping up on SIU and getting updates on our win over VCU.

Oh Carbondale. That town was good to us.

It was a good Saturday in Williamsburg as well. Got to see the Tribe knock off VCU in person and then watch the SIU game on TV in the Person room. Coach and some of the players showed up to help us celebrate.

Take it for what it's worth, since scrimmages are not necessarily played by coaches to win, but to experiment with line-ups....Depending on which message board is accurate, NC State beat Richmond in their "secret" scrimmage, by 11 or 8......Love to see us play up to potential and pull off a nice start to the season.

I'll be there with Mrs. Bolt & wmmii. Can't make the Towson game. The JMU game Saturday was probably the most fun I've had at a football game since Carbondale...
