Georgia Southern is in the books and we ain't going anywhere unless we beat Troy. I believe we escaped any serious injuries and hope the coaches are keeping the focus where it is needed....the next game.
Less than 1,500 tickets remain for this one, unless you want to sit on the hill better buy tickets by Wednesday.
Troy has one of the better defenses in the SBC and may have their offense headed in the right direction. On paper App wins this one by a couple scores as long as they don't let last week impact preparation or look forward to Ark St next Thursday.
I think App's defense creates a couple turnovers to put this game away sometime in the third quarter.
trap game, App hasn't had a bad game since Clemson, just got by our rival, and we have Ark State next Thursday, maybe the players are alittle too confident and don't take a hungry Troy team seriously. Defense looks pretty good, since they started conference play they aren't giving up alot of points. Apps defense should be able to control Troy's offense, might be looking at a low scoring game.

We're ironically in the same boat with Georgia State. Just finished beating our rival, huge game with conference implications just 5 days after this next one, a team not well thought of, but certainly capable of giving us all sorts of trouble coming into town.
Especially after pounding the Panthers last year. I could see the team starting to look ahead easily.
If you let the GS qb get comfortable throwing the ball, they can quickly score alot of points, Ark State needs to dominate early, get a big lead, and then run the ball in the second half and keep their offense off the field. Fortunately for you guys their defense isn't very good.

This team shows absolutely NO signs of inconsistency. App rolls again.

Agreed. It's so much easier to be consistently good when your strengths are defense and offensive line. Biggest crowd of the year and Halloween at the Rock is just a bonus.
