Since the admin is promoting this behavior, 2017 is going to look like a Star Wars movie. We need to go ahead and invest in some sort of mirrored face shields.

Perhaps we will have an alternate Star Wars uniform for the Boone trip.

The quintessential Stink fan

One fan, you're on the same level as he is in regards to ridiculous statements.

Nail on the head. 04-cheers

What ever makes you feel better. You're comparing THE BIGGEST troll of your fanbase, the only one who posted his "GS will win by two touchdowns" three times a day for the last two weeks, to a normal poster who mixes in a few mild jabs during smack talk week in between level headed posts.

I invite you to rummage though this link for a ridiculous statement on par with the daily musings of your village idiot: http://csnbbs.com/search.php?action=resu...0ecadabd68

Dumb move on the fan, and mildly surprised they didn't do something truly stupid like stop the game and clear out the stadium or something.

It's not an overreaction. You can permanently blind someone with a laser and it's not even that hard to do if it's powerful enough.

Not doubting it happened, but that's a miss.

I agree that the kick was a miss anyways and that it had little bearing on the outcome of the game.

Maybe now the Appys can stop claiming that pieces of cardboard (that posed little physical threat and mostly didn't even make it onto the field) were some sort of deluge of live grenades.

Except the pieces of cardboard did make it onto the field. That why a penalty was called for it.

Being blinded by a high powered laser would have no effect. I mean, don't most kickers close their eyes anyway?

Coach Fritz commented saying that it occurred during our punts, kickoffs and the FG attempt. Apparently more than one perp. He said in all his years coaching he's never seen anything like it.

NCAA needs to require a behavior video before App game, during timeouts and a halftime campaign to get these outlaws reigned in.

Yep, it appears the coach has the same excuse system after losses to App as the fanbase.

Sorry, seen Fritz coach the past 5/6 years. He's not one to make excuses for a loss.
However, seems he saw this and felt it needed addressing but I don't read into it as it being an excuse/reason for the outcome.

Exactly, App fans are reading too much into this.

Yeah, I was kidding guys.

I think people are making way too big a deal about a single guy with a laser pointer though.

Listen, one guy and a laser can blind a pilot and this is serious stuff. I would want our coaches to raise the issue if it happened to us. It's classless and that kind of crap is beneath our fans...or should be. So I apologize on behalf of AppNation.

As to the perp...we had a protest earlier in the day decrying the emphasis on football...my guess is a disgruntled professor is besmirching our good name.

Point one at an aircraft and get found out and you hope you don't end up in Federal prison.

Some did something stupid. Just another pain in the ass for security to worry about and hopefully the person that did it won't repeat it.

I think anyone rationale realizes it's most likely a single idiot and not an organized effort by a group of fans. Doesn't reflect on App in my opinion. You can't control idiots, they are everywhere. No need for App Nation to apologize.

I don't really think people are making a big enough deal. No one is making excuses and our play in no way constituted a W in Boone, but to think it wouldn't have a large effect on kicking and passing is well....pretty ludicrous. One guy being a jack arse can actually affect the game. Think about that... at the right moment it can pretty much ruin a single play. I'd say that's a pretty big deal and should never happen. It should have no place in sports, and they probably should not have continued playing until the situation was taken care of in my opinion. That goes for GS, A state, Ga State or whatever. Doesn't matter who it is to me. If it was us in the same spot, I'd have the exact same opinion. Its low rent, and it shouldn't happen.
