There's actually good place in Raleigh (in North Hills just north of I-440 for you App fans and/or NC residents) called Chuy's that serves New Mexican food. The chips are freaking addictive. I'd have to get a NM native to tell me how authentic it is, but the food is delicious.

Chuy's is a chain . . . really more "Tex-Mex" than New Mex

Chuy's is a chain, and it does serve mainly TexMex style Mexican food, but they do have a few good New Mexican style dishes as well ( they are described as such on the menu). As an NM Aggie residing in Texas I sometimes go to Chuy's to get a New Mexican food fix. There is a big difference from TexMex - mainly the heavy reliance on green chile instead of just jalapeƱos. Plus it tastes better!
