Wow. Defense stops Toledo in our end of the field. Forced a punt, albeit with the help of an offensive pass-interference call, but two straight tackles for loss were impressive.

Glad to see Bell get up from that hit. He took a good shot and bounced up. Roback looks pretty demoralized on the sideline. I hope Pensyl is ready to go next year, Roback will be gone.

Agreed. Both weren't targeting, but we ended up losing one of our best defensive backs for a similar play.

Bell needs to do a better job of securing the ball. On the replay you can clearly see him carrying the ball in the palm of his hand with three guys around him. Roback will be in if Bell takes another hit like that or fumbles.

When is the last time we've led Toledo in the 2nd quarter?

Up 6-0 after the 1st. Even if you told me we'd be leading, I wouldn't think we'd hold UT scoreless...

Not a huge fan of Bell at QB but at least the run first offense will shorten the game. Keep that clock moving.

Poor rush defensive returns on that drive, and just like that it's 7-6.
