After hanging around here for about two years, I would agree that forcing UL Lafayette fans to refer to themselves as the actual name that the NCAA, ESPN, Associated Press, et al. uses to recognize them would be a far more damaging punishment than any sort of postseason ban or scholarship reduction.

I honestly think that some around here would rather play with 80 schollys every year, so long as they can continue demanding to be referred to by their own made up name.
