Can someone show me what's on GaSo's resume that makes them 19 spots better than Appalachian? I'm not trolling, I'm genuinely perplexed. We've both dominated an easy schedule and taken a beating from a P5, although App did slightly better against a stronger P5. All in all I feel like this must be residual brownie points from GaSo's 2014 season.

Can someone offer a non-troll explanation?

Well it's the obvious thought, but then again App ended the season with a 6 game FBS win streak. Didn't y'all take a big loss from Navy at the end of the season?

yeah, but we also hung tight with 2 acc bowl teams and beat everyone else. you may have ended on a 6 game streak but we smoked you and you lost to an fcs team.

Don't over think it. It's a poll. As for last year, we were better than App. We all play a 12 game schedule not 6... plus we won the head to head.

I hope we don't have any problems with ULM this weekend. It would be awesome for the both of us to be 5-1 going into the October 22nd game. Nationally televised evening rivalry game with conference championship implications. By the way, as of now, the low for next Thursday night is 46% with a chance of rain.

Anybody that puts stock in a 10 day forecast for Boone is nuts.

bad weather favors GSU, they aren't going to throw the ball much anyway for it to be a factor, but App throws and runs the ball equally well, good weather means GSU can't sell out against the run.

This game should be the first real litmus test for both teams so, it's a poll, someone's opinion, I agree with some of the other's it's based on last years season at this point. The Toxic Twins get to battle it out next week hopefully both of us at 5-1.
