Just giving an honest assessment based on watching the film. GS fans can watch the Wyoming game and see the talent difference. Will gladly eat crow if we lose, but I don't see it happening.

RE: Sun Belt Power Rankings - Week 6
But how much of that is Wyoming's coach making smart decisions?

Wyoming held off Air Force's option attack for three quarters yesterday before finally being worn out. Either they aren't the worst 0-? team this year (UNT, UCF, and NMSU are probably worse) or their coach really knows how to make use of his limited resources. How much of that success can be duplicated by other coaches?

So why not watch any of our other games?

We're the 10th ranked rushing defense in the country, and fifth ranked defense overall. You're clearly welcome to make any prediction you want, but the entire season disputes everything you've said.

The wins are against 166,170 and 186 per sagarin. Ours are not impressive either, but much better at 106, 125, 146 and 162. Per Sagarin Mercer, Wofford and Furman would be a tougher schedule than ODU, Wyoming and GaSt.

Clemson was up 31-0 at the half. Where are you going with this?

So you're saying all that matters is winning big, and not what the defensive statistics are?

Well, only when it fits your narrative.

Arkansas State plays South Alabama this Tuesday and then Louisiana-Lafayette a week later, then Georgia Southern plays App State two days later. Basically the three most important games of the year in the Sun Belt.

Maybe for you, but not for us. We will still have A-State and ULL to play while you pin your hopes on the game two weeks from now. We don't have to beat GS to make our season.

There is no getting around the fact that App's wins are against the #166, 170 and 186 teams. You play the #126 team this week so it is a moderate step up in competition.

How many rushing attempts did Clemson have? You gave Clemson some short fields on turovers.

My prediction is it will be a humbling experience for GS. You guys are porus on defense, and not the best GS I've seen on offense, and I've seen a lot of GS games over the last 20 years.

They averaged 3.2 yards per carry. So, I guess 44 rushes.

We can't help how other teams do until the day we play them. still looking for that credibility enhancing win in GS's resume that gives thier fans all this hubris.

Just a lot of App love out there after beating a schedule easier than Mercer, Furman and Wofford per Sagarin.

And you know what you just said is full of crap, right? That fact you are using Sagarin ratings to make your point? That Mercer, Furman, and Wofford (who lost to the Citadel and Idaho) would be better matchups? Put the crack pipe down.

In fairness, GaSo beat the Citadel. And we all know how hard it is to prepare for triple opt...wait.

Furman did beat UCF, but they are horrible like Wyoming, ODU and GaSt.
