The new Cary/Zable atmosphere
Okay ... Let's get this going.

Walking into the stadium, the upper deck is quite a sight, and the stadium just seems to take on a more "serious" aura.

Sitting on the west side, my impression was that it was noisier.

Windy on the west side, but flags on goal posts were limp.

It was a great atmosphere, and can't wait to see the finished product.

The new construction is definitely impressive. It was a welcome sight for the fans with seats under the overhang yesterday, too, I'll bet.

The new deck does create a very different feel to the place. The west side stands were noisier than typical. Actually started some chants, which has been a rarity in the past.

Well, from The North End Zone one could hear a pin drop in between plays. In fact on of the few punts #31 was not able to fair catch we could hear a coach yell "get the hell away" warning our blockers the punt was not going to be caught and get out of the way.

Considering the weather and being on NBCSN it was a great turn out bybTribe fans

Seems like YOU weren't cheering! Make some noise and stop listening for opponents' coaches. Geesh.

RE: The new Cary/Zable atmosphere
We were very encouraged by the actual turnout of almost 9000 fans...on a terrible evening
that followed an awful rainy/windy day. No doubt that we would have come close to a sellout
on a nice day/evening.

People around us were into the game. Listen, an almost constant downpour mutes virtually any crowd, but the fact that 9000 showed up is a darn good indication of inherent Tribe support.

I agree with others, too----the completed "new" Zable/Cary is going to be remarkable!

Agree BT.

Actually, we may have had more people actually show up than they did at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill same day. That was a noon kickoff on TV - the place looked empty (and miserable with the rain).

Just glad we didn't have lightning. Those delays just kill the whole game.

Tribal...everyone who knows me knows I mouth is normally open. Granted sometimes my foot is finds it way there but that is just because my tonsils itch ! My hands are clapping and voice is heard during a game unlike many around me.
It was Tribe coaches would were shouting out instructions and I would never yell while one our players is looking to field a punt...

Let me describe tribe Fans section, remember the old dudes on the Muppets, always grumbling? That is what his little swath of fans are like. They are friendly however, my wife periodically ventures over that way to watch the game with them. (I am not welcome, but I am at peace with it).
