That being said, you Sun Belt guys would kill to have the football and basketball attendance and success Memphis has had.

Thank you for your support of the Sun Belt by visiting our board.

RE: Same ol' Memphis football
this is Memphis football, I'm thrilled about being 8-2, with SMU still on the schedule...esp coming off a 10-3 season.

Memphis can jump right back in the top-25 with a win @Temple next Sat.

it also means the winner of Navy @ Houston will most likely get the Access Bowl...good news for the AAC!

Unless one of them fumbles away the championship game.

Remember, it's the highest ranked G5 conference champion.

Football success? We've got a chance to finish the season with the same number of wins they have.

That basketball success is nice, but how much of it came out of the cheater Calipari?

As Arkansas State fans, we are going to always troll Memphis. We'll be makin fun of them if they are 12-0, or if they are 0-12.

You guys may never understand why, but that's how it will likely be.

The 70s feature an NCAA runner-up with Gene Bartow and Larry Finch...the 80s have a Final Four with Dana Kirk and Keith Lee...in the 90s Larry Finch returned as coach to lead Penny Hardaway and Elliot Perry to a Sweet 16 and Elite Eight...and of course what Cal did the 2000s

Memphis basketball has 4 decades of success, and is a known hoops power/name...we are much more than John Calipari.

Blah blah blah . . . A-State won the last 5 games it played in the Mid-South Coliseum before D1 college basketball was no longer played there.
