I've been playing Star Craft 1 again since the new one came out. I just assume my lap top doesn't have the requisite tech level for SC2 (maybe I need more pylons). Are Ghosts air units now? Is he confusing them with Wraiths?
Anyway, App will beat ODU...for Aiur!

wraith is always making excuses... I discovered last year that he and Klak were guys I used to own in Halo in Southern Pines all the time. He made excuses back then too.

Eh, you'll never hear me say I was amazing at Halo. I never put in the time to get good at FPS's on console. PC was and still is my thing.
But it was Klak's roommate that was on all the time, I didn't live there so I only played ever so often.
I'll let him address the rest of your comment

Haha. I was pretty good at Counter Strike back in my day, I quit right before CS 1.6 was released.
In other news. This is a big week for the belt. A good opportunity to earn some respect back after a bunch of close losses last week (except USA of course).

Clearly Texas State and New Mexico State has failed us. App and StAte must not.

App State @ Old Dominion - App wins, just barely though.
ULM @ Alabama - Always tough, ULM scores 21.
Akron @ UL - UL wins convincingly.
Arkansas State @ Toledo - stAte wins by a touchdown.
NC State @ South Alabama - South indeed puts up a fight. Lose by 17.
Texas State @ Houston - Houston wins this one convincingly after a few tight quarters.
Georgia Southern @ Idaho - Southern wins by 20 or more.
BYE Week @ Georgia State - BYE Week beats us down. Couple of injuries will linger for a couple of weeks.

oh man, you are not lying...took me forever to get through the jeep part...i'm not 100% sure, but pretty positive I lost a controller out of anger at that point. Also "forgot" about a lot of homework, too.

When did you guys have time to play video games at Southern? I was consistently preoccupied around 2004 with females, drunk neighbors, working at bars, school work etc

My friends and I had one video game between us. Halo and then Halo 2. We played it incessantly. At ASU, Final exams always started on a Wednesday, and you had no classes on the Tuesday before, so everyone could "study" That meant that Monday Night was a no homework and prime game night. Usually we'd finally give up about 4am, and crash.
I didn't and still don't drink in principle, so most of the night was spent waiting on everyone else to get drunk, because I was pretty amazing at video games when playing 3 drunk guys.

Mostly just freshman and Sophomore year. I don't drink so when my friends and I went out I'd always drive, but that was usually just on thurs nights and the weekends. They'd come home and pass out and I'd play Halo lol.

Based on these picks, none of you have watched either of Toledo's games. Toledo by 14+

I haven't but they have a 2-point low scoring win over a disappointing Arkansas team, and a win over Iowa State who could easily challenge Wake or Kansas for the worst P5 team in the nation. I'm not ready to crown them yet.

Conditions for App/ODU are shaping up to be terrible. Rain all day, 20 mph sustained winds with 40 mph gusts.

Team with a strong run game does well in the rain.
That kind of weather is not very conducive to the warp speed spread they like to run.

I don't really know what to make of ODU yet this season. They had over 200 yards rushing in their first game and over 300 in their second game. Then NCST held them to -3 yard rushing in their third game.
I'm thinking Heinicke's replacement is less than stellar and NCST knew he couldn't beat them with his arm so they sold out to stop the run. It clearly worked.
