Weather keeps bouncing from 50-90% chance of rain during our game. Safe to say it could get sloppy; hope people still come out to give a boost to the team for the first home game.

There's a big difference between a 45 degree night and rain and a 70 degree night and rain. It's a football game! So you get a little wet. If we are going to ask our team to make a statement Saturday night, the least the fans can do is make one for the team and show up!

Big difference between wet turf and muddy grass and dirt. Back in the early 70s there was an end zone that would flood during games and it was seriously about six inches deep in one corner.

Field looks good. Well, about as good as it's going to look.

Nice first drive. Cluley's underneath accuracy is a big difference from last season.

Great first drive. Nice seeing Durant back on the field.

Haven't seen Reeves on this possession since he took that hit. Hope to see him again after Hart went down.

I compliment Cluley's short accuracy and he airmails an easy pass. My bad.

Never seen so many false start penalties. Not sure what's going on there.

201 yards already against a team that was giving up 186 yards/game. Get a stop here and then resume paving them.

Hey our D looks solid. I don't like the end of the last drive there but we got this. Let's go Tribe

Ugh what, 7 downs inside the 3 and can't get anything. That gives them a bit of momentum. Important to come out strong on D since they start with the ball 2nd half.

It appears that there's a bit of a difference between UVA's offensive speed and Stony Brook's speed.

That whole sequence was an utter failure. A chance to go up by 3 scores and we got zilch. Cluely missed an easy toss for a TD.

Then we open the 2nd half with a kick out of bounds. Luckily, our defense did the dirty work to change momentum...nice job!

Lots of defensive linemen playing and playing well - so far i've seen Aloha, Gryder, Hicks, Rascoe, Davey, Clayton, Donald and Stephens.

We've got to put them away though ... Our offense has not finished of late.
