Grew up a Gamecock, and Spurrier's done wonders for the program. I'm old enough to remember guys like Paul Dietzel and Jim Carlen and Richard Bell and Sparky Damn Woods, so I have a clear memory of how bad USC history has been.

I'd like to see Spurrier have a great year and go out on his terms, but don't think it's going to happen. Even in wins, the team just doesn't look like it's been coached.
