So what is Sun Belt main TV
Saw NCSU vs USA will be announced later today. Does the SB have a main broadcast partner or should I plan for this to be ESPN3 streaming? Thanks for any info.

ESPN3 for most games and then a handful of Thursday Night ESPNU games.

RE: So what is Sun Belt main TV
OOC games can be picked up by other networks and some schools get local affiliates to broadcast, but those are regional.

TXST gets an occasional Longhorn Network gig and we had the CW in Austin pick us up the past couple years.

RE: So what is Sun Belt main TV
Georgia Southern has had several of it's games picked up by Sports South or other regional Fox networks and I would think NC State - USA would warrant that.

USA and NC State is on ESPNews ... you won't see Sun Belt home games on anything but an ESPN platform

We need a better TV deal, but glad this one is making to the actual tv. A shame the stAte-Mizzou game didn't, makes no sense, you would think that is why you pay for SBC games if you are ESPN.

We need a secondary TV deal, or get on FOX, CBS, NBC in the next go around.

Can we just start a SBC Network????

Benson believes there is only one sports channels and that is ESPN. He did the same thing for the WAC (I have wondered if he has gotten compensation from ESPN for keeping a conference solely with them). Its a reason why NMSU started AggieVision, alumni wanted games on TV.

Without a secondary TV deal the SBC will never be on the same level as MWC and other G5 conferences.

MWC TV Deal: ESPN, CBS Sports, Root Sports, MW Digital Network/Campus Insiders.

That's not far off from my TV. I prefer ESPN3 to any other option...easiest for me to watch. Might change if we decide to get Sling TV at some point.

Not true the GS at NMSU game was on Sports South and I believe Fox Sports Southwest just last year.

RE: So what is Sun Belt main TV
With the addition of the American Sports Network, CUSA and CAA have both increased their television coverage. And that is more then just football, also in basketball. Is our league office not trying or are we just that undesirable for programming options???

I know but no one else in the SBC gets on there and the CW is not an ESPN platform. Both are, more or less, regional.

You can use Sling login to ESPN Watch app.

We wouldn't move the game off of Saturday, so it got ESPN3.

2020, Though we have a look in that we can use at any point now. Supposedly we were waiting until Coastal Carolina joined officially to make another run at ESPN.
