He's on the PUP so no earlier than November.

Yep, Nov. 1 against the Steelers is the earliest he could return and that seems to be the target/plan.

The announcing crew really hated the Bengals going for it, but I loved it. You're up two scores and get the ball to start the 2nd half and the defense is playing well.

Best thing about it was the play broke down and Dalton came back to find Eifert for the almost-TD.

That rule really sucks because everyone knows when it happens that it's a catch. I understand the NFL not wanting to make it more of a judgment call though.

It's tough to complain when you are beating the Ravens 14-0 at the half on the road, but it really feels like it should be a lot more with the bad officiating, bad breaks and questionable coaching including poor clock management.

And how many flags is this crew going to through? I think reffing is getting out of hand.

Agree that I have no problem with the call to go for it. They probably should have come away with a FG anyway if not for the clock mismanagement. The rule appears to be have interpreted correctly but it's an awful rule - and not just because it went against the Bengals this time. I don't buy the judgment argument either. You could ask somebody who has never seen a football game: Did Eifert "catch" that ball in bounds? and they'd say yes.
