GS meets goal of season ticket sales
Just announced tonight that we have crossed our goal of 7000 season ticket sales. Last year we were at about 6100 so this represents around a 15 % increase which isn't t bad at all.. If we can keep growing by 10-15% each year we will soon be at the 10000 threshold our AD has set for another stadium expansion.

15% increase is great and many institutions would be ecstatic to have that type of increase. Going undefeated in conference play will make those numbers trend upward! Southern moving in the right direction!

Awesome news, still trying to figure out how we convince another 3K to buy without expansion of the home side. Are they going to buy them in the upper deck of the visitor side? Chicken or egg but I still think new luxury boxes would sell out in a NY minute and for a whole lot more than what they are getting now.

I agree on this as well. Luxury boxes are the way to go because they entice your big donors to bring their big wig friends. Got to have some nice luxury boxes!!!

Good news, GaSouthern. 7,000 is impressive. It would be good if all SBC teams would post their season tickets sales figure. Or maybe not.

You can get there. We were at 7,000 four years ago.

I predicted we would expand in the 5th year of fbs. That looks doable. Just need to keep growing the fan base.

IMO, there is no reason any SBC school should not reach 15K within the next five seasons. Rivalry starts to happen, especially when GaSt wins it's first game. Those fans will forever be pissed off.
