South Alabama at Nebraska
I'm looking forward to making the trip to Lincoln Thursday to cheer on the Jags. I've heard nothing but great things about Nebraska fans

NU is around a 27 point favorite. I felt good going into this game before last Saturday. NU's heartbreaking loss to BYU and the Jags underwhelming victory against Gardner Webb has changed that.

On a side note, the marketing department sent out an email requesting that South Alabama fans wear red to the game. I guess no one told them that the entire freaking stadium will be wearing red. 03-banghead

Don't even wear white. Wear blue. Be a rebel.

I wish y'all luck . .. . . Think you're right about the NU loss . . . . . They're gonna be in a foul mood, and it's already a hostile place to play . .. .

Yes Nebraska fans are great. They actually stand up and applaud when the opposing team enters the field out of respect. Go get 'em! We face them soon.

I've been to a couple Ala. vs Neb. Sugar Bowl games, but I'll have to watch this one the B1G Network. Go Jags!

The line is now 27.5. We all know Nebraska isn't overlooking the Jags after last week's last second Hail Mary loss to BYU.

So, in your opinion, what is more likely to happen?
The Jags easily cover the spread
The Jags barely cover the spread
Nebraska easily covers the spread
Nebraska barely covers the spread

After the Jags' lackluster performance last week against Gardner-Webb, I say that they will barely cover the spread.

I fear that if GW can put 23 on us, Nebraska might put half a hundred or more. Defense was a big concern going into the season. The offense will have to do a lot better this week of helping the defense by keeping the ball.

I say we cover. Barely.

At 1-0, we lead the conference. Stop the clock.

Technically either Georgia State or NMSU will be in first place after tonight. God help us...
