This game scares the **** out of me. They finished last season ranked #27 FCS team and they return 17 starters.

Last season they beat Liberty who as everyone knows beat App State last season.... CSU also took Vanderbilt down to the last seconds only losing 21-20!!

This game is going to take everything Troy has got! I like what I saw last Saturday and I can say I feel a Little better about our chances but it's going to be TOUGH!

If we win big then I will be greatly impressed.

I wasn't overly impressed with CSU's game versus North Greenville (#81 D-II). The score was 41-14, but despite that, their lines looked weak. Having watched our game and their game, I'm less nervous than I was. We're better than expected, and they don't look as polished as I expected them to be.

Can we kick Troy out of the conference if they lose?

Meh...most of them are closet aubs or bammers...I won't miss them...

I really think the UAB slaughtering affected Troy for several more weeks last year. Trojans have to be more upbeat coming out of Week 1 this season. I don't expect this game will be close.

Charleston southern is a weird team. Well coached over-achievers that really show up to play against better competition.

I would be worried if I was Troy. App was already mentioned but Charleston Southern also almost took out Vandy last season.

Slaughtered?.....I heard they bought us off for $400K .....

I will be shocked if the game plan isn't to run up the gut most of the game. They replace all four starters on the D-Line with a R-FR, a So, a So, and a Jr. The weights are 245-250-250-220. For reference, Troy's O-Line is 300-300-300-300-280. Burkes had 124 yards vs #36 NCSTATE and could have a big day vs #36 CSU.

The backups on CSU's D-Line are all R-Fr except one who is a R-So. None of them have game experience outside of special teams. They are young, inexperienced, and very small on the D-Line.

CSU usually runs a triple option. They try to dominate time of possession and make games ugly. If you ever have the misfortune of playing them in their stadium (they just got lights last year), it can be a terribly dull and frustrating game. Troy, please do not lose. We're leaving that conference to come to the Sun Belt. The last thing I want to see is a team we have repeatedly destroyed beat our new conference mates

The whole Horse family will be in town for the Trojan Victory tomorrow. I'm even bringing a young cousin who has decided to attend Troy for our nursing program. This will be her introduction to the Empire. Gotta get that W!
