That's because our coaches think we have to do fancy play calling on a simple PAT.

If you are going to do that....why not do it when you are behind by 22 in the 3rd qtr against the #8 team.

Be pissed when its in a close game.

This is out of hand. Need to protect our QB and bring in the backup.

The backup was starting the whole game. The one who should be starting is now in.

55-6. We shot ourselves in the foot a bunch today. Many fans are already calling for Knighten to be benched. I'm not that drastic, but I want to see more of Tabary.

Defense actually didn't look that bad when you consider 21 points were basically given up by the offense. A few too many big plays, but we sacked Kessler 5 times, which is certainly better than I expected.

Play Calling was a disaster today... I think we're trying to fit a square peg in Knighten in a round hole right now, and I am not sure it's going to work outside of games against Missouri State and the bottom of the SBC.

Tough game, but personally .. . . I wouldn't be calling for anyone's head . . . Or making drastic personnel changes after this.. . . That was still US Freakin C you guys played . . . . . I get that fans hate to lose, but you don't want to hit the panic button just yet... . 04-cheers

It isn't just this game with Fredi. I promise you I have been telling my friends and family since last year that I am uncomfortable with the ball I'm Fredi's hands.

I will agree on that fredi plays very inconsistently but when he can get his keys roaring and he's clicking on all cylinders...hot damn!

Ok, your guy may have issues. . . I'm just sayin that I wouldn't take away too much from that game . . . . You guys got clocked by the number 8 team in the country . . . We got clocked by number 10 . . . The only thing I'm taking away from our game, is that we've got a pretty good punter to replace the guy who left . . . .

Knighten's issues have been magnified of late. Throwing for 80 yards for an entire game is bad. #8 team in the country or not.

Tabary 7-11 95 yards...2 drives?
Knighten 8-22 81 yards ...3 quarters

The problem is Exposed

Apple and Oranges ...

1 QB was playing against #1s and the other qb was playing mostly vs #2s and 3s but most times it comes down to a coach trusting one player over the other in running/knowing the offense

I have a question for ASU fans ...what's up with your scheduling I've noticed ASU playing buy games out west and north west twice in the last 3 years and scheduling home and home with western schools. Home and home is one thing but still way out of your footprint. I think the AD loves traveling out west? Hey if I was AD I would have Western playing every road ooc game in Fla or Hawaii, or somewhere with sunshine, warm temperatures and oceans. As a fan who travels to most if not all of Western's games I would love it but Western has went away from scheduling OOC games even buy games like that. Mostly regional now other than Army/Navy but everyone loves playing them and even those two are driveable

Is your AD from out west?

The majority of our regional rivals won't play us anymore (Memphis, La Tech etc) We've tried several times to bring CUSA schools in, but have been rejected every single time. AAC has teams willing, but not all. The MWC has a bunch of teams willing to come play here, so we're basically signing what we can get.

As for the Buy games out West...Oregon was specifically at the request of Hugh Freeze in 2011. He wanted to show us what he wanted our offense to model. Mohajir is all about finding the biggest pay check available, not the most local game. We want around 1.3 million for a guarantee now. Hard to convince a lot of regional P5's to pay that unless they are the Bama's of the world. PAC 12 schools are more willing because they know the travel is intense, and there are fewer G5 schools out there for them to bring in.

When you've got a limited number of schools 4-5 hours away, and most won't play you, options become limited. Thus we maintain strong relationships with the MAC, MWC, Big 10 and PAC 12.
