Agreed. Great game by the Eagles. Your QB is frustratingly elusive, and #6 RB might as well be a locomotive. This game could've gone the other way super easily. Good luck for the rest of the season, and the team we played will not go 0-12 (like some of y'all are saying).

But man, that field. I'm sorry, but I don't like it. Hurt my eyes.

Good game Eagles, very entertaining and that game could of gone either way. Best of luck going forward. I think both teams are very young and will develop as the season goes forward. I liked the field a lot.

RE: Good Game EMU
Thanks, guys. Wasn't honestly expecting to win, so I'm satisfied with the result (but heartbroken we couldn't pull it off on the last drive). Lawry was highly touted, and I thought he would underwhelm, but obviously I was incorrect. Bentley made some mistakes, but looks like your offense will be in good hands the season.

Best of luck the rest of the way. Make some noise in CUSA and make this close loss more impressive.

Lawry reminds me of our own Bronson Hill. Bentley will get better... but not this year. ODU will be pretty damn good next season.

You at the game? I find the field very easy on the eyes in person.

Not yet. He looked disappointed coming off of the trainers table.

From watching on TV it look like a facial injury. They were checking his jaw.

Good game?????? We gave that game away. That was a good game to anyone who expects to lose.

Just need to learn how to win, not be satisfied being up by 14. Hopefully Creighton's first 2 recruiting classes will start to change that culture.

Also need to make defensive adjustments! Take away their best player and the run game FIRST, and make the young QB beat you. Ridiculous to consistently get gouged by the same play over and over.

Eagle Tough I am surprised more people on the board have not said
what you did. I was at the game and sitting low so when this play
was run I couldn't see what happened. I watched the replay on
ESPN3, when the color man said Eastern played the pass it did not
make sense. Just like to don't pitch to Cabrera in critical situations
and you play the percentages of the other guys beating you, they
should have made the freshman quarterback beat them not the
the guy who has been running through you all game.

Was watching it on TV. I think ASN had color correction issues due to the field. I'm sure it looks great in person but via TV it was a weird experience.

Ahh, don't really ever get to see it on TV so I wouldn't know about those issues. I enjoyed the ODU crowd, very loud for the amount that was there and very nice when in conversation. I apologize for any ODU fans that went to the game and had to wait in those stupid lines. Designated seat idea was a bad idea and poorly executed, we don't fill the seats enough to do that on the Convo side and visitor side.

Anybody else tired of being congratulated by a victorious opponent for giving them a good game?

+1 +1 +1 +1

This thing has hit such rock bottom it starts with a culture change.

Players and coaches need to be held accountable for losing a game they should have won. Not getting a pat on the back for keeping it close, and having 2 - 14 point leads....(before blowing it!) 03-banghead

Not saying there were not a lot of positives....but let's raise the standards folks.

As Ricky Bobby would say..."If you ain't first, you're last!" 04-rock
