coverage is horrible, blurry, camera shows crowd while play is running etc. As for the game, Howard had suspended 4 starters for this game including their starting qb, the kid taking snaps is just getting killed, no first downs in the second quarter, only 2 for the game, their defense is just worn out. Hopefully we will tack on a couple more scores, get the starters out of the game. Good crowd, really surprised, leading up to the game looked like we would be lucky if we had 14 thousand, I would say its close to 20 thousand.

Wasn't complaining. stAte has the same problem. Our fans start heading home right after halftime.

They did start out with a nice crowd. Go look at some MAC games....wow.

heading home at halftime is happening at all levels of collage football, people just don't have the patience anymore to sit for 3 or 4 hours.

Yeah I don't get it. If I am going to buy tickets and drive to the game I will stay till its over.

BTW APP kind of looks like the Pittsburgh Pirates of the Dave Parker era. I use him because until now he was probably the biggest dude in yellow I have ever seen( I know y'alls unis are supposed to be gold...still looks like yellow). Glad you are taking care of the FCS team....

Totally agree.

Glad that ended, for Howard's sake.....man that was a whipping put on them by our boys.

give Howard's administration credit, they suspended 4 of their best players a couple of days before the game, they put their school integrity ahead of being able to compete against App.

From what I observed it wouldn't have mattered much, our depth and talent at every position was far past anything they could compete with. As a MEAC team they still will likely win 5 or 6 games, its not like they were Savannah State.

At 35 - 0 the dogs were pretty much called off and zone read and stretch plays were all Scott was calling. Good to see our kids take things serious throughout, and stay very focused.

Kudos to Howard for keeping education a priority, you don't see that all too often.

Unlike a lot of people who leave games after the score gets out of hand, I really enjoy watching the new guys play. The two RS freshmen RB's and back up QB Caruso were impressive. New LT Harris played very well. True soph Latrell Gibbs is emerging as one of the top CB's in the conference and true freshman ILB Flory will be an all conference player before long. IOt was agood day for App to get the future some game experience. 6 true freshmen, 13 RS Freshmen and 3 1st year juco transfers saw signficiant PT yesterday.

The line, at least according to my Yahoo Sports app was App State -37, so it was nice to cover.
