28-21 just before half. Amazing what a fresh face can do in the cockpit.

That's what we are hoping...

I hope so as well. Your loss to UAB last year was the most disappointing early-season Belt loss until, well, today. Damn that was a kick to the nads. We needed that one.....the game, not the kick to the nads.

UAB was decent last year and after losing to Troy the 3 years prior they were out for blood...

BTW, SMU intercepted Baylor, made it back into the redzone and then to the 3 before a qb sack caused the clock to run out preventing them from at least a field goal. Darn near tied at half time with the No. 4 team in the country.

SMUs RB coach is a legend at TXST from his days playing for SWT. He's got great ties to the Texas high schools and is showing he can recruit. I hope he develops at the college coaching level because he would be great to bring in after Fran.
