It's unfortunate that the call was missed but you have to get past that and we didn't/couldn't. In the end we lost our composure and it cost us. It was a great season and unfortunately there was one team in the conference that was a better team.

LOL, not quite ready to say that after less than 2 full years. Overall, I think we have acquitted ourselves quite nicely. Probably much better than any of the "Old Guard" imagined.

Probably going to need some upsets this week in the P5 Tourney's, but there is an outside shot that Arkansas State could actually be seeded in the NCAA tourney and host the first 2 rounds. A lot will depend on what our RPI looks like. It was at 18 last week, 16 teams host.

You guys only have one loss on the year right? I don't see how it's even possible that you don't host, unless the SBC is looked that down upon.

It's all an RPI and SOS formula. There is a lot of good teams in volleyball, but a lot of dreadful ones too. The dreadful keep the good ones from getting that respect.

Yeah, a tight 5 setter to Missouri. I've seen is listed as a possible host, but we're a bubble host instead of a certain host. Not a lot of respect for our volleyball program.

As our coach put it today, we're far superior to Arkansas in every stat, yet they are an at large lock and we were not. Said people look down on us because we are Arkansas state.

Michigan state is beatable. They played Little Rock earlier this year, and swept, but all three sets were tight.We played the Trojans 3 times, struggling to a 5 set win in Little Rock, but cruising in Jonesboro and at the Conference Tourney.

Washington is a whole other matter however. They are one of the best teams in the country, and have lost 3 sets at home all season. Yikes.

Coastal (28-4) draws 16th ranked Creighton in the first round in Chapel Hill. The Chants are riding an 18 match winning streak. They've only lost 5 sets over those last 18 matches and only lost 2 sets at home all year.
