Ticket office is at the Mercy of what UVa allocates. The Alumni House probably called and asked about a group deal or something for a block in that lower section. Glad the ticket office is offering refunds to those who bought early.

nogretheogre, I saw those at the book store when I was in the Burg last weekend! Would it have been that hard to manufacture them to look like WM's actual helmets? Outstanding idea, horrible execution. Try again.

RE: UVa game
UVA tickets ordered from Alumni Association are still not at the Alumni House--as I understand it UVA has not sent them yet and we haven't asked as of yesterday (according to Alumni Association, which appears blase about the whole thing)!

Game is just a week and three days away..how are they going to get them to all of us? Mailing
time is getting short and impractical at this late date. Distribution at Alumni Tailgate in Charlottesville (an event most are NOT attending) would be chaotic and to leave it to the uncertainties of the UVA Will Call Window is impractical.

Somebody better get cracking at the Alumni Association.

Pickup at the Alumni House would be one way...or

Agree with the fact that it should have had the Tribe script logo. Otherwise, I think they are intended to look bad...so bad their good. Which would be an excellent way to bring back the old feathered logo in an unauthorized sale.

Thank goodness that helmet does not have what looks to be a pile of pasta otherwise known as the cypher logo stuck on the sides..

As hard as it is to say, I don't think it is quite bad enough to be so bad that it's good.

12-7 ND. UVA hadn't converted a first down before the 75 yard TD drive.

Hoping for last minute win today by ND, resulting in depression hangover next week.

Oh boy. ND is getting manhandled. 14-12. NDs only TD came off a fake fg. Our boys better bring it next week.

I like how this sets up. Bad loss week 1 and then a heartbreaker week 2. Winless coming into our game. They're going to be both feeling the pressure and heavily demoralized. Let's make it even worse for them.

I thought UVA looked pretty good today. This has all the makings of a let down game though.

UVa game
UVA has no deep threats; hence no deep threat defense. That and middle school sideline coaching cost them the game. Could not have happened to a more deserving fan base.

RE: UVa game
UVA regardless of the outcome showed much more in week two than they did in week one. The freshman QB for UCLA lit up the UVA DB's. Now, I don't think Zaire is a prolific passer so that may have made UVA's DB's look better than they are. Still UVA's QB played a solid game. #9 on UVA seems to be his favorite target.

I'm pretty sure Swinton is out, and while he is not big, he's still our best cover guy. Someone's going to have to fill in big time for him. UVA ran the ball pretty well against ND too. Keeping fresh legs out there the way the Tribe did in game one will help keep the pressure on the QB. Rhodes, Haslip and Fetters need to have a great game.

I think our offense can have some success against them. Cluely throws a nice deep ball. The two plays that killed UVA in the ND game were two long pass plays for TD's. Mikal and Kendall run hard and should have some big plays. Dedmon should be back, what kind of shape he's in is a question mark. If we could get 2-3 big plays from him, and the WR's have success like they did against Lafayette our chances improve.

Having two weeks to prepare should help us as well. I like our chances, it's going to be a great game.
