Looked to me like Saboor was in the process of starting his dive to get the football when he was crumpled by #41, who chose to hit Saboor instead of trying to recover the ball. Which is just fine. Looked like a completely legal football play, but just a violent one. I didn't consider that it was a cheap shot until I read this thread.

FWIW 90, I thought the same thing when I saw it. There was definite intent to injure, but nothing that could warrant a flag unless there was a very loose interpretation of unsportsmanlike conduct/unnecessary roughness. Hopefully, the football gods take their due at some point.

Virginia looked flat last night. I was hoping Mike London would be successful but they have not really gotten any better and too many just dumb mistakes and penalties.
