I used to take kickers for granted.

BTW, can you drop kick a extra point in college?

Pronounced "Yung-whey" I believe.

It's not as fun as it looks. It's actually pronounced Young-Way

Drop kicks 'used' to be 4 pts. Not sure if they're still on the books or not.

Edit....I think it's 4 in Arena football.

I'm not sure if I ever took kickers for granted pre Monken, but I definitely didn't once Monken got to Georgia Southern. As good a coach as he was, he couldn't find a kicker who could make a kick on a consistent basis from 30 yards out.
Hell, if we'd had one, we may very well have gone on to win our seventh I-AA title. Had some guy who was a walk on from the soccer team and had never kicked in a college game trot out in the national semifinals against North Dakota State with the game on the line .... or so goes my blurry memory.

Kickers. They're all Garo Ypremians.

And that is after the kicking game cost GS wins against Citadel and App earlier in the year...

And IMO, it cost us home field advantage for the FCS playoffs.

That might fit in with the Barnum & Bailey Circus but not in a college football game.

You just wait until he tries that sucker in a game and makes it. You'll be singing a different tune.
