As much as we're having to revamp our team, I still feel for Eagle fans who may have to suffer through a rebuild after the great season they had last year.

I'll be surprised if they finish last, though.

Anyone want to speculate on who Pappy puts at #1? I'm gonna go with ULM.

So, will Troy be worth a damn this year? Some of my best memories of Troy sports are watching the 09' and '10 teams do their thing (Even though they never quite peaked).

ULMost has a very good coach, too good for them actually. He has been coming fast for a couple of years. Just think he is still missing the most important thing, a killer stud starter.

I will say that Louisiana will be in the mix for first. This will be Marlin's fifth year and except for a mutiny in his second year has been getting better and better overall. You have to take a little step back when you lose EP, but the overall team was better last year, still that was a big vacuum to fill.

From 2nd place in the regular season and 2-point loser in the championship game all the way to the last place in the conference is a very long way to fall. I feel confident that our coaching staff can prevent that.

App finished at 6th last year. Would expect them to be better in year 2 under a new coach. Plus, are the sanctions from Capel gone this year? Might have more to play for if so.

If we finish 10th I don't see our coach sticking around another year... This is year 3 and we should start to see improvement at this point

Troy owns the top basketball facility in the Sun Belt conference, recruiting shouldn't be a issue.

Facility wise, I think UTA could give you a run for yo money. . . . .

Both opened the same year. UTA's is a little larger seating wise. on the Outside Troys looks more impressive. On the inside arena wise both are about he same although Troy has the largest video boards in college basketball and ribbon boards all the way around. Im not seeing that on UTAs

RE: MBB: Pappy's 2015 Sun Belt Predictions
Troy's looks great on the outside, Ours looks good. Ours looks great on the inside, Troy's looks good. We have ribbon running 3/4 round the arena, Troy's is all the way around minus the scoreboard. We have a big scoreboard over the middle, Troy has none. We have a big scoreboard on the south end, Troy has a giant one on both ends. We have an upper deck. Troy doesn't.

There
