RE: Scarbo: Alabama should play UAB in football, but now's not the time
The point makes sense for a time. The problem is to say when that time has passed, and UAB is then ready to play Bama. Just how many years are enough to make such a game something that should happen? Leave that up to Bama and the answer will remain "NEVER".

As long as Bama remains criticism free for throwing millions of "Alabama Bucks" annually into the coffers of other states' schools, including schools the other state teams must play, nothing is likely to change. It is not likely any other Alabama universities will ever be able to provide millions to Bama's opponents, but one can be certain Bama's fans will not like it then.
