I always enjoy listening to Mohajir. He actually will give out information.

Full props to the station for getting this loaded quickly tonight. Took them a full day last year to get all of them up if I remember correctly.

Most of it is more cryptic than it appears.

Chief, props to you too for getting the info posted here so fast. Don't know how much of all that you've listened to, but I'm interested in what you thought was the most intriguing or surprising tidbit of information you heard coming out of the event.

Yes, TM loves to drop bits and pieces of relevant information to see where it goes. Nothing earth shattering, but just enough to cause the hamsters to run around the wheel just a little faster.

I've always pictured him reading our message board laughing his head off at our freak outs every time he releases something.

Sample: "Next week, we anticipate announcing a home and home with a regional G5 opponent who we have a history with that fans will really like"

Message Board: "OH MY GOD, WE"RE RENEWING THE MEMPHIS SERIES!!!!!" "MAYBE SOUTHERN MISS OR LA TECH" "HOUSTON!"

Actual: Home and Home is with SMU, who we've played twice in like the last 30 years...

I've got free time until my job starts back full time in August. What can I say.

Still have yet to listen to all of the info. I'd say the most interesting bit I got was the lack of assurance that a 12th football member is coming. I think we've assumed that EKU or CCU was automatic come end of football season, but I am not sold on that just yet. We heard a lot of non committal teases, which tells me it's still not decided.

I agree. I sort of think the conference wants Coastal Carolina or possibly EKU but neither appears to have sold the current members or enough of them that they are really ready to join the FBS. Also it doesn't t sound likely that NMSU is in a good position for an all sports invite. I also think trying to listen and read between the lines that NMSU and Idaho may be with us for a while longer than what many thought.

There's no doubt in my mind about that.
He knows that where his clients are at....so that would be foolish to think he pays no attention to it.

Some of us call him The Riddler. You've got to listen really close or you will run down the wrong path making assumptions.

Total guess on my part but my hunch is next up is Coastal and they will enter in hoops before football and a bowl game will be part of their stadium plan.

The area would love a bowl game I'm sure - there are plenty of empty hotel rooms and restaurants at that time of year.

I think it will be a battle with Charleston though since The Citadel already has a 20K stadium and Charleston started down the path of a traditional bowl game but then settled on the Medal of Honor senior bowl. Now having that bowl may complicate things for them as I'm sure nobody would want to see that given up either.

I could see Coastal's campus / stadium having a good bit of local support and perhaps even the MB chamber willing to be the title sponsor - the VisitMyrtleBeach.com Bowl.

Sounds to me like Coastal Carolina is close to being that new Basketball school.
