Surprised at the lack of love for APP... But I put very little stock into these things anyway... Better watch out for ODU... They are one of those teams that can sneak up on you... BUT if App loses three at home, there ought to be some warning bells going off..

ODU is in Norfolk this year.

and yeah just can't see us losing that many at home, scary to think about and would be a huge disappointment given the high expectations this year. Honestly this is the best feeling I've had going into a season since our last championship season in 2007.

Glad to see App predicted lower than usual in this poll. App is a very young team and I don't want to see them get overconfident by reading all these positive predictions before a down of the season is played. Not sure a lot of real research went into this one.

UL (third place finishers) already given Nola bowl invite for second straight year even though stAte had just won second straight conference championship and didn't have a guaranteed bowl bid. Serious question, would you rather win the SBC outright and go to a different bowl game or go to the NO bowl? Easy answer for me.
