I did see it, back in April of 2014 when it was first published. FAIL comes to mind.

An ODU fan runs that blog if I'm not mistaken, and I believe he engages with users across this board (mostly CUSA) for its G5 weekly rankings. I believe he was sort of run off from this board, which I didn't really get, because at least he is helping bring attention to our leagues and was asking for input from SBC fans for the polls. He still posts things on the CUSA board I believe.

I actually thought he is trying to do a good job as he reached out to all conferences for representation .....seems pretty conscientious about doing a good job...hats off from me

Couple Notes here:

1. He was not "Run off" He has not been banned or anything else. He doesn't post over here (and does so sparingly on the CUSA board as well now) by his own volition. My guess is that he's pretty busy trying to run that site.

2. We have multiple voters who participate in their polls.

3. I personally do not like the site, and never have. I appreciate the effort to cover the G5, but it's essentially a fan blog now. I have always seen the rankings as arbitrary, and unlike the folks at Underdog Dynasty, who went out and affiliated with a major blog network and got themselves at least semi recognized (AState quotes their stuff pretty often) This site chose to remain more anonymous There is nothing wrong with that, I just am not sure its the best way to actually cover the G5.

If many of you will remember, his site had ODU in the Top 10 of the G5 for most of last year with Georgia Southern unranked. A completely laughable assertion, but one that existed because they had far more CUSA voters than that of any other conference..

I'm not sure if he got his "feelings hurt" But he never really got the interest over here that he did on the CUSA board. It's pretty much the same with most of the G5 conference sites based over here (Everyone but the MWC is active) He found voters and contributors, but never as much interest as they got out of the CUSAers.

If you can't spend the ten bucks a year on a domain name....

That ODU guy runs a different site than this one. The ODU used to have a top 20 G5 schools. Not sure what the web address is on that one.It was also very pro conference USa as well.I dont think that blog exists anymore.

1) Look at the date. It's from April of 2014, so before last season.

2) Here's how last season actually ended up going for C-USA...

3-1 vs. AAC
3-3 vs. MWC
4-0 vs. Sun Belt
7-0 vs. MAC

IOW, not one of the conferences listed above us before the start of last season managed a winning record against us, and our aggregate 17-4 record vs. the other G5s was tops among G5 conferences by far!

We were also 4-1 in bowl games. So much for that link.
