Making plans for the MSG game right now.

Our schedule is basically entirely a mystery. If we renew our traditional home and homes, we'll play at Tennessee Martin and at Lamar, while hosting Central Arkansas. Beyond that point, we have no further committed games, as every other game last year was either a guarantee game or the conclusion of a 2 year home and home series.

We traditionally play a MAC school every year, so we might find one there. Not sure.

I know we are playing at Duke in non-conference. Other than that I have no idea at this point. Please let's have no Truett-McConnells or Trinity Universitys on the schedule this year.

Agreed, though I am disappointed in the lack of home games so far. All the above are on the road minus Bradley and we inked a 2-1 with UNT with a home game this year. We have two games left on the schedule before its filled. I have a suspicion they will be home games.

those are 6 pretty tough road games. we need a couple of good draws at home. the bradley game may draw a good crowd and if untexas comes in that will draw well. I would like to see us quit playing at ut-austin and work on getting texas tech or tcu to come in. we would have a good crowd for that.

I'm certain UNT is coming, as that was the announcement prior to last season. We signed a 2-for-1 to make up for them canceling out our last contract when they were supposed to come to CPC. Including that, we have 16 road games and 12 home games. Since the Ohio St, Memphis, La Tech, Grambling "tournament" doesn't count as part of the 27-game limit, that gives UTA a 31-game schedule this year. We have 3 games left to figure out, one of which should be a home game against Grambling. I'm assuming one game will likely be a non-DI school. Hopefully we keep it at that and have a more than just Bradley and Grambling at home.

If I'm the Athletic Department, I'm scheduling the Grambling game as homecoming to pack CPC and then let UNT pack the place by virtue of the rivalry game it is. Win those two games and UTA may again sit near the top of the SBC in average attendance (Damn it feels good to say that after out pathetic basketball attendance history).

When you are reduced to schedule home and home's with Jackson State and Savannah State...it means you are struggling.

Arkansas St. making a run at Ga. Southern for weak non-conference schedules. Ours is not out yet but I can assure you if we can play 2 non D1 teams we will. I would not be suprised to see a home/home with Savannah St. on ours either.

Does anyone have any "name" teams coming in? I've skimmed through, but haven't seen anything that really caught my eye. I'm happy with our schedule (specifically no D2 teams) and we've got Charlotte, which will be a good draw, but not really a big name.

Wow,no offense,looks like the Red Wolves have given up on basketball.Quite a shame when you consider some of the great teams you've had.

Hope you can fire Brady and start all over after this year.Convo center is an excellent venue.

Didn't new legislation pass limiting non-D1 games? What is the new rule and when does it go into effect?
