He was from my hometown. By all accounts a terrific young man who happened to be a great athlete.

So sorry for the family, and the young man. Tragic loss.

Hard to imagine how a family handles this loss. More than likely, he was at the zenith of his short life when this happened. Starting a new chapter in his life, going to college and playing baseball in D1. Such a sad event to happen so early in life....My condolences to the family.
