He can do whatever he wants with his money for any reason.

Who cares where his association does banking? Hell there are lefties who wont shop or buy products from a company or store if they are Christian. Lefties do this stupid **** all the time.
So is it stupid when lefties do it or only when righties do it?

If you don't care, why are bothering to read, rage, and reply?

I said "WHO" cares. you obviously care because Graham does not approve of your lifestyle.

He's a high-profile public figure who constantly sticks his nose into political issues. Many people care what he says and does. I hear people from time to time refer to comments he makes publicly. He's not Joe Smith from Springfield.

You think Billy feels differently than Franklin? We're talking about the same Billy that endorsed Richard Nixon. You may not like Franklin, but don't act like he's drastically different than his dad.

It always shocks me that Billy is so universally venerated when he is an exclusivist who believes in biblical inerrancy.

Thank the Lord that his father is likely to old to see how much this clown is tarnishing the family name.

Quote:Upset that Wells Fargo is running an ad which includes the story of a lesbian couple learning sign language before adopting a child who is deaf, Franklin Graham announced last week that the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association will no longer do business with the bank.

Graham spoke with Craig James of the Family Research Council, which is cheering on Graham’s announcement, on yesterday’s edition of “Washington Watch,” where he explained that he will be switching to BB&T, another North Carolina-based bank.

Graham may not have done much research, as BB&T has received an 80 percent score in the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index and this year is the sponsor of the Miami Beach Gay Pride Parade, along with the chief sponsor of Miami Beach Gay Pride’s “Legacy Couples” program, which celebrates same-sex couples in “committed relationships of 10 years or longer.”

Wow! So standing up for your beliefs and following Biblical Doctrine on this matter is tarnishing the family name? 01-wingedeagle

On the contrary, I'm sure his father would be proud that he isn't allowing modern culture to change what the Bible says about homosexuality, here's a hint, IT'S A SIN!!!! If you don't like what the Bible says maybe Buddhism is more your cup of tea.

And FTR, I'm a Christian...what does Jesus say about homosexuality?

You know, Jesus didn't speak much about specific sins, he knew the Old Testament condemned homosexuality and he did not say it was not a sin, in fact he supported Old Testament doctrine when he said

"Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill."

Not seeing anything in The Bible that says homosexuality is not a sin but both Old and New Testament say it is. Christ said he did not come to abolish the Law or Prophets, so, by that statement he upheld that it is a sin.

What bank did Franklin move the accounts to? Honestly it would be hard to find a regional much less national bank that doesn't offer same sex benefits so they all support same sex couples to a certain point, but they don't have to run ads marketing to gays.

But RWT has demonstrated countless times he hates Christians simple because they are Christians. When he gets called out on it, he startes pretending he IS a Christians to cover up his obvious bigotry and hatred for them.

Why am I not shocked that somebody used that reference? Once again, that's easily the most taken out of context scripture in the Bible. The simple fact of the matter is that RWT's posts and beliefs are out of line with Biblical teaching.

Read the Bible first if you are going to quote it.

It absolutely teaches us to recognize and confront liars in the church and those who falsely call themselves followers of Jesus.

It even teaches us how to recognize who these people are.
