Meh... Sandy relief was going to pass anyway. Politicians frequently grandstand when their vote doesn't matter. I suspect that Texas relief will pass, and some Democrats will similarly grandstand. It will be interesting to note though if their opposition is similarly wasteful spending or something else. What I mean is, if they say that they oppose it because it contains wasteful spending, no problem.... but I suspect there will be some pressure from their constituencies to say that they oppose it essentially out of spite.

well you like to point out things that republicans do and act as if dems don't do the same. I'm just following your lead, bud.

Both parties add stuff to bills. I've never said otherwise.

Yes you have. All the time.

This is usually the place where you use the handy-dandy 'Search' feature above and find one or more instances to back up your claim.

I don't answer to you, oh wannabe mod!!

Oh I agree... but it's not that far fetched in that this is essentially what happens now... and essentially what this is. Voters like it when 'the other side' gets called out. They don't like it when cool heads prevail and people wait to see what the truth is.

Fine by me. It's your reputation at stake. I have no problem putting people on ignore who refuse to source their allegations.

Yes, I believe he supported a stand-alone bill for Hurricane Sandy. But when the Dems attach billions in income redistribution they lose votes like Cruz.
