If all that extra inning baseball wasn't enough for you, Virginia and USC are 9-9 in the 10th right now. USC was leading 9-6 in the 8th when their LF made a horrible play on a liner to left with the bases loaded and all three runs scored to tie the game. EDIT: Virginia scored 5 in the top of the 11th and holds on to win 14-10.
Wow! What time did the game end? That eliminates the AAC from the CWS.

Monday afternoon games:
ULL, LSU, and Illinois win and advance to next weekend's super regionals.
Vandy looks certain to join them; they're leading 10-0 in the 4th inning.
Florida State v. Charleston is 0-0 in a rain delay. FSU wins the regional if they win this game; a COC win would force another game, which would likely be played tomorrow unless they restart and finish the first game very soon.
Dallas Baptist wins to force a winner-take-all regional final vs. VCU tonight.
Other winner-take-all regional finals tonight: Miami v. Columbia, Cal v. Texas A&M, NC State v. TCU, UCLA v. Maryland.

It's been really competitive this year, without too many games like the current Vandy blowout.

ULL will play LSU in the Super Regionals. So far we have one representative each from the Sun Belt, Big West and Missouri Valley. Dallas Baptist can make it two for the Valley and Columbia can give the Ivy League some representation in the Supers as well.

I'm watching the Cal - Texas A&M final game of their regional. The commentators said that baseball was the second most lucrative tournament for the NCAA.

Congrats to VCU for reaching the Super Regionals. They will play Miami.
Florida State is in the Supers. Vanderbilt joins them with a 21-0 pasting of Radford. Texas A&M advances to the Super Regionals after beating Cal 3-1.

What happened with the Pac-12? Arizona State, Cal, Oregon State, USC, Oregon: all out in the Regionals. Only UCLA, the #1 overall seed, is still standing.

RE: NCAA Division 1 Baseball Championship Thread - 2015
UCLA was the only #1 seed, so they were the only Pac-12 team seeded to advance out of their regional.
Cal was seeded #3 and finished 2nd in their regional, USC was seeded #2 and finished 2nd. ASU underperformed by 1, they were seeded #2 and finished 3rd. Oregon was seeded #3 and finished 3rd.
Obviously if UCLA loses that's a fail because they're a national seed, and the six national seeds that have finished all won their regional. (TCU, the other national seed not yet finished, is trailing 8-7 in the 9th of its final game as I write this.) EDIT: TCU wins it in the 10th. Great comeback by the Frogs in that game.
As for baseball being the second most lucrative NCAA tournament, after men's basketball -- that's like being the second-tallest person in your kindergarten class, after the teacher.

Maryland finishes off the #1 national seed, UCLA, and advances to the Super Regionals. The Pac-12 fails to have a team advance out of the opening round.

Super Regional breakdown by conference
5. SEC
4. ACC
2. Big Ten
1. Atlantic 10, Big-12, Big West, Missouri Valley and Sun Belt.
The Pac-12 had six bids to the Tournament, the American had four and C-USA three. None of these teams advanced out of the regionals.

Florida, Louisiana and Texas guaranteed to have a team in the CWS. The Great State of California has to travel across the country to earn their birth.

NCAA Division 1 Baseball Championship Thread - 2015
I love College Baseball and it's good to see Big Ten teams starting to play better. I know there is really good High School Baseball in Ohio and I hope teams from the Midwest/Northeast can continue to get better. Good luck Maryland, Illinois and the rest of the teams that have made it to the Super Regionals.

But if there is one team from the Great State of California who can pull it off, it's Cal State Fullerton.
