Come on redwolf. Don't you know that they will run 100 plays a game this year? Troy will win the belt.

I'm not claiming Troy will win the Conference, but a "Dream Scenario" of 4-8?! Come on, really?

I agree with BTH. 4-8 is not a dream scenario.

Ill pay the writer 100 bucks on the spot if we finish 4-8 or worse...
Had we not lost to a FCS team we would have finished 4-8 this year....I dont see Troy losing to another FCS program this year
Troy will finish no worse than 5-7

Most Belt fans will take any open shot they can at Troy because we are a Traditional Sun Belt Power in both football and baseball. I used to let it get under my skin, but it's just not worth getting flustered over because folks are just going hate on us.
Sure, the Men of Troy have been down and out for 4 seasons now, no denying it. However, we have done something about it finally and see my Trojans returning to the top of the Belt football standings very soon. March On Ya'll.

Dream season for Troy this year would be 7-5 or better.
5-7 or 6-6 is more realistic
anything less than 5-7 would be a huge dissapointment

Honestly, the only conference game I don't see them winning is @ App. UL is suspect against the pass. Georgia Southern is even more suspect against the pass. I know our fan base can be cocky, but I bet most of our fans don't feel super confident with the idea of playing Air Troy at Troy. At home I think South Alabama is winnable too.
I think they beat Charleston Southern, Idaho, NMSU, Georgia State, and 1 or 2 other conference opponents.

Disagree. They won't be able to stop the run an we will control the clock. I'm not guaranteeing a win... anything can happen, but we should win this one (hopefully easily).

I agree. People think the Air Raid is the Triple Option's nemesis when in fact it's the other way around. Troy ran 45 plays versus Georgia Southern last season. That might be an all time low. We ran 102 vs Georgia State in 2013. In 2008, ULM was the only SBC team to beat us (they beat us 31-30). They didn't run the Triple Option, but they were really good that night at being Ball Control Bullies. Keep the Air Raid on the sidelines and you can win.

Regarding the Cajuns pass defense. You are correct to say "were suspect"; but this year's group is quite different, and so is the coaching. I honestly expect a MUCH improved pass D in Cajun land this season. Just my 2 cents.

Air Troy. I like that.
South Alabama is a very winnable game for Troy with all the moving pieces they have. It will be Neal Brown's conference opener, it's at home, and likely under the lights. Charleston Southern is a much better team than South Alabama will likely be at the times we play them. I feel much better about USA than I do about CSU.

Prepare to be attacked by the Sobammers with that post. That is if it isn't raining and they can get their internet connection going down in Mobile.
I'm not a Troy fan because of wins and losses.

Why would I argue when I have no idea how my Jagzers are gonna gel this year?

truthfully not a far from realistic view of squad....as to record.....between 3-9 and 8-4 with the mid of that being likely the 8-4 would be a really nice dream.....anything above and WOW.....but really 5-7 to 7-5 would be a pretty good place for us and none of that would surprise me.....8-4 and above WOULD.....4-7....could happen but unlikely...2-10 no....3-9 naw....
