Hopefully. I think Persons could be the spark we need to take a step forward.

Surprised and wondering, will he return after JC?

RE: Rashaun Richardson Leaving
If Richardson doesn't return after JC, would almost hate to lose him entirely. We don't get many 6'7" players who are that athletic. He probably would have found it hard to beat out Calhoun, House, Wells, and even Teague and Moses for much playing time in 2015. So it might be good for both sides for him to go somewhere where he has a chance to play and develop next year. (And the small matter of being able to land Person in the meantime.) But it will be interesting to see what he does at JC. Have no idea what to expect. His athleticism may never quite translate to the court or he could ultimately be an Anthony Newell type player (but two inches taller).

He's an experiment. This is total speculation but I don't suspect we'll ever see him again. I was surprised that he got an offer. Not because I don't think Whit knows what he's doing (or a slight to Richardson), but he got very, very little playing time in the regional game I saw Tech play. Obviously, you expect someone who gets a D-1 offer to get more playing time than he did.

JC can be a black hole for players, so who knows. We could see him in Worthen again, or we could see him suit up for a B10 or ACC school, or somebody could stumble upon him playing at a D2 school somewhere.
