Both 11-7* and tied for 1st. Huge series.

Memphis (at UCF next weekend) and USF (at Tulane) are one game back at 10-8.

Looks like 15-9 will win the league.

* I am assuming Houston holds on to beat Tulane with a 7-1 lead with 2 outs in the B9.

So neither UH or ECU are going to play better than .500 ball the rest of the way?

Wishful thinking.

Wishful thinking.

It's possible that one of the two goes 4-2 but it's also possible that they go 3-3
As it was shown this weekend you can't take anyone for granted in this league.

Hopefully the old cliche rings true that pitching reigns supreme, because I would put our staff up against anyone's in the country right now. Last week, Longville, Dowdy, and Romero combined for 26 innings of shutout ball. That is pretty insane.

The "worst" of the bunch last week was Andrew Lantrip (arguably the conference's best pitcher), and still went 6.2 IP, only giving up 2 ER.
