Former Vandy Four-Star Recruit to Transfer to Cincinnati
http://www.anchorofgold.com/2015/4/30/85...ransfer-to

Jordan Cunningham left Vanderbilt in the middle of the 2014 season when he took a leave of absence for personal reasons, leaving an already thin Commodore receiving corps just a bit thinner. On Thursday, he made his departure official when he committed to play the rest of his college career with the University of Cincinnati.

The Bearcats should give the talented wideout a soft landing spot, and depending on how the NCAA rules he may be eligible to play for Cincinnati this fall. Cunningham appeared in only two games last season, but transfer code stipulates that he'll have to sit out a full season before suiting up unless an exception is made.

This is a big get right here. We lose our 7 talented starting receivers after this season, and had a lot of question marks going into 2016. Add Cunningham and Khalil Lewis, both highly sought after receivers, with a raved about Tshumbi Johnson and you have a very talented, yet totally unproven, group of playmakers. I want to add Nate Cole to that list, because he just screams NFL receiver to me, but has been buried by the current depth of the position, though has some relatively solid experience.

Depending on how his draft stock looks, it MIGHT not be such a terrible idea for Kiel to stick around for his final year after all. MIGHT not be... Not holding my breath though. Id be just as excited to see highly touted Ross Trail grow up alongside these fresh uber talented receivers anyway.

Be prepared to wait, because Hayden Moore has something to say...

The AAC seems to becoming a big landing place for high profile 4* athletes who, for whatever reason, don't stay at SEC, ACC, etc schools. Big question will be if they work out. ECU has had plenty of 4* transfers come through but rarely have they been more than they hype.

UC has done pretty well with highly recruited transfers the last several years. Jeff Luc, Gunner Kiel, Ben Mauk, and Mekale McKay. We have had a few misses too like Demetrius Jones and Vidal Hazelton (Hazelton was more of a miss due to a non contact injury in his first game), but overall we have had good luck.

Good point. I keep forgetting that people keep singing his praises this spring. Moore v Trail could be a fun QB battle to watch next offseason.

I've got a feeling Ross Trail will sit on the bench a couple years before transfering to Arkansas St to finish up his career.
