Softball RPI 4/27
http://www.ncaa.com/rankings/softball/d1...ftball-rpi

The Cajuns RPI dropped to No.10 from No.9 after being swept by Oregon over the weekend. So it didn't hurt the Cajuns RPI much by being swept by Oregon whos RPI went up from No.6 to No.4. It shows how scheduling top teams fof OOC games is very important for your RPI. It's too bad the Cajuns blew game 3 in the 7th.

The Jags RPI is No.29

Big Deal. AState has the #1 (Club) Softball team in the country in the latest rankings. That's got to count for something...right?

Lafayette and South Alabama will certainly be in the NCAA tournament with probably Lafayette a top 16 team and a regional host. Ga. State at 38 should get strong consideration expecially if they can do well in the tournament. I don't think any team in the 50s in RPI will get in. I am still hoping for 3 Belt teams to get in this year.

wouldn't that be great if the Cajuns met top 16 Lafayette I wonder what ESPN would call us. I would rather u called me ULL but we are not Lafayette.

No problem but it would be great to meet Lafayette in a major sport ESPN would have a tough time with logos
