Postseason ban is not apart of the probation.

Looks like TXST needs to win conference or hope for other conferences not to fill.

There is still a one bowl increase for 2015 over 2014 for the Sunbelt (Cure Bowl).

So how many bowls is the SB tied to next year????????

Yeah, Little Rock is usually better than what people imagine. Did you eat at the Big Orange on University or out at Chenal? It has a sister Mexican restaurant called Local Like that is pretty good too. By North side of town did you mean North Little Rock?
Yeah North Little Rock on University.

Not trying to be a smart alec, but University Ave is nowhere near the city of North Little Rock. You were in Midtown(city of Little Rock). The city of North Little Rock is on the other side of the Arkansas River. I still would like for the seven municipalities of Pulaski County along with unincorporated Pulaski County to join and become a consolidated city-county like Louisville did. It may not matter though, because I would imagine that businesses that come into the area has done their homework, and know how fragmented the area is, and know that Little Rock is only like 1/4th of the metro.

Birmingham is worse then that, he'll, Birmingham isn't even the largest city in the Birmingham Metro Area, that's Hoover. A lot of the towns around Birmingham compete with each other for jobs, they all have their own city council, school system, police department, a lot of expenses that could be shared if they would just come together.

Mobile on the other hand is all Mobile. One school system, one police department, and one entity trying to bring in businesses and jobs. Just works so much better in my opinion.

Birmingham is still the largest city in the state by population, although Huntsville may very well pass it by the time the 2020 Census occurs.

Mobile is a city in Mobile County - of which there are several others. There used to be one school system, but some other cities have formed or are forming their own independent districts.

The best example of a true city-county government is Lexington-Fayette Urban County in Kentucky. It is different from Louisville Metro in that there are no incorporated suburbs in the Fayette County limits (Athens bit the dust in the 1960s). It has one government, one school system, and one police department - Louisville can claim none of that.

Makes sense. I had driven all over the area (Jacksonville, Conway, Benton) and had just left NLR so I wasn't quite sure where LR started. Either way loved it in Arkansas and will be back for a vacation in the Ozarks one of these days. Maybe a game up at stAte. I really hope a bowl ends up in LR cause it's a quick, cheap flight and a great town and area. Underrated for sure.

It really is. Best town in Arkansas, in my opinion.

This news really blows for TXST. Those poor souls will probably get snubbed again.
