Bumped the RPI up from 43 to 36

Unfortunately tomorrow it should go down against Southern

It was a good bump but also caused SLU to fall out the top 50

If the season ended today the Cajuns would in all likelihood get an at large if they don t win the tourney. A 36 rpi should get them in

He's not wrong.

I'm glad he identified our weakness, although it has been glaring. He should also do us a favor ask our coach to resign, he has way too much talent on that roster to have the current output.

Crazy thing is that we have players who have legit cases for Sun Belt pitcher and hitter of the year in Thurber and Dobson. Yet we're in last place.

From seeing us play App in the first conference series of the year in Statesboro I will say I am surprised App has struggled so much. I figured they would be a middle of pack team.

We're in the same boat. We've got a legit hitter of the year candidate in Zach George and his 55 game on base streak and +.350 batting average. We've played in 12 one run games in league games alone. Yet we have 15 conference losses 20 games in.

It's a team game, you can't hit yourself in every game and you can't pitch in runs. Every team has great players, even the onesat the bottom. Football and basketball teams have guys that are POY type guys but generally don't win because of being on a team at the bottom.

Every road game on TV we hear the opposing announcers say they are surprised we are struggling so bad looking at our stats. Chapel Hill, South Carolina, UALR, South Alabama, etc, etc.

RE: Baseball 4/21 - 4/26
Cajuns beat Southern 5-4 in a typical trap game to get to ten games over .500 for the first time this year at 25-15. For the most part we've drastically cut down on misplays in the field and we're being led by a bunch of true freshmen on the mound. If we can only get our hitting to stay consistent we can maybe make a run down the stretch.

You guys are flying. We've moved Sunday start up 2 hours to accommodate a flight out of Memphis. Either that, or we decided to get the game over with before anyone sees.

We might be busing there and flying back. We did that for South Bama. We bused to UALR as well, but I'm not sure if they flew back or not.
