You also said in another thread you were in the tank for Hillary.

I am, but my comment stands. You guys aren't going to land any blows on Hillary so long as you're talking about Bill's sexual pecadillos. And wild stories, of which this one qualifies, aren't going to be believed by many Americans, as a result of the peddling of too many reckless charges in the past by right wing media sources (of which the NY Post qualifies).

Keep this stuff up at your peril. The Dems are defining the GOP candidates at this point. The right wing media... is peddling sex stories about Bill Clinton.

Yes, the American people might just ignore Hillary's sleaziness and incompetence. What about you, Tom?

The difference in this case is he may have been getting his knob polished by a minor, but apparently that doesn't bother you.

It's moot. The left is in the tank for Hillary, and I'm becoming increasingly convinced no evidence of sleaziness or incompetence is going to shake them loose.

As I said in another thread...'you cannot underestimate the advantage that Hillary has because she is already defined in the minds of the American electorate'.

All most Americans remember is the Impeachment, or reckless claims of 'Hillary murdered Vince Foster'. No one is listening, because so many wild and reckless claims were made in the past.

Yeah the Real truth Hurts, but it's all about that Base! Anything goes as long as That Base Wins.

Hillary isn't sleazy IMHO, she's a POLITICIAN. No more, no less. I also happen to agree with her politics too. For me, its about health care. And LGBT rights.

Do I trust Hillary? Not really. She's a POLITICIAN. But I trust her a hell of a lot more than I trust some neocon warmonger, oligarch supporter or a homophobe.

I trust Hillary more than I trust Elizabeth Warren. Of course, I'd trust Bill with my teenaged daughter more than I'd trust Elizabeth Warren.

She IS sleazy, and she's not a particularly astute politician.

Psssst. Hillary is an oligarch.

Man, I really don't understand your hatred of Warren. Out of all the truly dirtbag and sh*tty politicians, it's hard for me to see why you think she deserves such ire, even if you disagree with her politically.

I don't know her personally, so it's not hatred of her personally.

It's just a belief that her positions on key issues are so wrong-headed that she would be disastrous beyond belief. To be fair, I felt the same way about Obama, but fortunately he has proved too incompetent to lead the country in the direction he wanted to go. I'm not getting the vibe that Warren would be similarly incompetent, so she scares me.

Bottom line. We are a net importer to the extent of several hundred billion dollars per year, up to a trillion when oil prices were higher and we imported more. That money has to come back in the form of foreign investment, or else there's an Argentina/Zimbabwe wealth drain on the economy. I don't think foreign investors will be inclined to tie their investments up in the tax and regulatory policies Warren proposes. That makes us Argentina (if we are lucky) or Zimbabwe (if we are not). And Russia and China won't be wishing us luck.

It seems its more of a combination of the fact you really don't like her policies, and you're worried she's competent enough to enact them. That I can understand. I imagine I'd have very strong feelings against, say, a very competent version of Palin or Santorum than their current incarnations. Fair enough.

I think that's a reasonably accurate synopsis.
