Hard for a Baseball team to be a top team year after year
Because the Major League has the Minor League system unlike the NFL and the NBA, they can afford to raid the good teams of their good players before they are Seniors and the money is hard for a player to turn down whether it is an A, AA, or AAA team. This makes it difficult for a College Baseball Team to be on top year after year.

This is shown by last years CWS Teams RPI Today, 4/16. These could go up or down by the end of the season with 20 games and post season left. Most teams have alot of catching up to do.

2015 RPI as of 4/16
